Overview

Purpose-built, the LH822E combines a compact upper assembly with tight tuck boom geometry to minimize residual stand damage in steep slope selective harvesting applications. The combination of high horsepower and harvester head optimized hydraulics provides the operator with responsive control, quick feeding, and powerful delimbing and debarking capability. The result is high productivity and the lowest cost per tonne of processed logs. Pair with a TCi harvesting head for a full factory-backed package.

Operating Environment

Optimally positioned controls and large, colour touchscreen display for machine control system interface.

Quiet interior environment with Bluetooth® audio and hands-free calling.

Clear sightlines along with the skyVIEW camera system reduce fatigue and promote safety and productivity.

Rock-solid Stability

Long track frames, a wide stance carbody, super duty leveling components and unique geometry.

It all leads to rock-solid stability, poise and comfort on steep slopes.

Service Made Easy

The clamshell style retracting roof enclosure provides excellent access to the engine house.

A swing-down door on the right side of the machine allows the operator to easily access daily engine service points.

Tigercat Seat Adjustments

With the exception of forwarders and harvesters, all current 2025 Tigercat models are equipped with a common operator’s seat. In this video, to help you get the best performance from the seat, we are going to take you through the adjustments and point out some differences specific to certain machine models.

LH822D with 575 Bushfire Salvage

Watch the LH822D equipped with a 575 harvesting head. This unit has the 8,2 metre (27 ft) boom option for better stability and lift capacity. It is working in the Green Hills region of southern NSW where approximately 52 000 hectares (128,500 acres) of plantation Radiata pine was damaged by bushfires in 2020.
